Creating a new project is simple. Head to the project archive screen, where you’ll find a button at the bottom of the screen that says “New Project”.
Once you tap this, you’ll be taken to a new screen, where you can fill out the project information including an image for the project, the name, date/time it’s taking place, the location, a description about the project, directly add any Colabs and add any reference images.
You will also be asked to choose a project type, between standard and Open Casting.
A Standard Project is private, visible only to project members.
An Open Casting project allows other Colabs to apply to your project through the connect screen.
Every project will allow the Colabs to specify a location, time, bio, reference images, message within the project message group and set tasks for Colabs. But when creating a new project, there are subtle differences between the two available project types.
Open Casting Projects
When creating an Open Casting project, you’ll be asked to choose from a list of profession types. Your Open Casting will appear to those professions only, in the city you have specified for the location.
As an example, if you’re a photographer working a job in a new city or country and need to find a photography assistant in that location, you can set an Open Casting for that location in advance and have a list of candidates before you arrive.
